  Walking Tour

  Walking tours are available as private events only from October 1st until April 1st for a min of 12 people.
• From April tours are also available every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, first tour starts at 12.30pm.
Join Robin Hood and The Sheriff of Nottingham for a medieval history of Robin Hood and Nottingham City. From the church within sight of the castle walls where Robin Hood sought sanctuary to the Market where he traded in disguise.

Pay on the day £6p.p. Adults, £3p.p. 12yrs and under.

  Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, Cellar Tours

  Carved out from the soft rock, the cellars of the Trip to Jerusalem are like interconnecting caves. They have been in use at least since the Norman conquest and probably longer.
  On the far side of the cellars a rusting iron gate hangs limply from it's hinges before a doorway cut into the rock wall. This is said to be the condemned cell of the castle prison.
  The condemned cell isn't used to store beer as the ceiling is too low, for the most part it is kept empty. As you walk in the cell, you know it's not right, you know it is evil. Men condemned to death were shackled to the walls in there. Some left to die of starvation or dehydration.

  See the spectacular cellars and hear about the history, then enjoy a half portion of homemade fish and chips with a half pint of a real ale of your choice all for just £14.95p.p.
